the one acts are comming, the one acts are comming!
ah, so the year begins to draw to a close again. review is pouring from the sky and the one acts are beginning to gel. no one has hw, everyone is relaxed and free blocks are abundant. oh *GOD* i love the end of the year ^^. things are...just...so different than they used to be. a lot of things haven't changed, which is good and bad. but a lot of things have changed, and that's nice.
wow...i was supposed to post this yesterday....not friday night. anyway ^^ come see the one acts!

think twice...
hmm...i've had this layout for awhile. i guess i'm sorta half thinking about making a new one. i guess this summer when i have time and all of that nonsense =P. any suggestions? perhaps pretear. or princess tutu o.o i like such ultra girly anime =P
hmm =/ i seem to have lost some of my history notes. how unfortunate. o.o
i love only having 3 classes instead of like...7 or 8 =P
So today i was sitting in the computer lab checking my email and i had gotten this really nice essay from my friend Omi in new york. it's pretty neat...i thought i'd share some of it with you guys. definetly made me think about myself ^_^;; we all need improvement tho, ne? otherwise we wouldn't be so human.
"I was thinking today in physical education as every was playing softball, and while it wasnt yet my turn to bat. I told Jacky Tibbett and Mike about how I had my first bowl, and apparantly, that seemed to impress them. Now I ask, is it that impressive that I took a single hit? Is it anything to be particularly proud of or even brag about?
I think think someone who smokes it once in a while should feel that its at all wrong, as long as they can control themselves, but at the same time, why is such petty, pathetically trivial rebellion so cool? Apparantly, someone becomes cooler with every shot they drink and brag about, someone becomes more interesting every time they toke up.
But what is rebellion? What is strength? Is strength resistence or acceptance? Is rebellion rebelling from authority, or rebelling from what is common (common being rebelling from authority)
What is non-conformity? Refusing to conform to the rules or refusing to conform to all of the student who refuse to follow the rules or refusing to conform to the non conformists?
Is conformity wholly wrong? Is non conformity wholly right? Is anything the masses do really right or really wrong?
I asked myself today, is morality something that people hide behind to defend themselves from things they don't understand, or is it a standard of decency which is meant for the common good of society that only the brave are courageous enough to bear?
There is no question that people's idea of right and wrong will always change, which leads me to believe, that the only right and wrong is whatever does no permanent physical or mental damage to someone, but what about the gray area of emotional pain?
How can we classify that? How can we measure the emotional burden or find the severity of an emotional injury that someone can sustain from someone else or that someone can inflict upon someone else?
There are two approaches to take to this. One would be the religious/spiritual/ and ultimately humanist appraoch, which is to treat others as you wish to be treated. This rule is confined to no one religion, that is, no sect or group has a monopoly on this idea."

I need to laugh at myself more. screw being serious! i'm on..well, almost... vacation! w00t! summer is here! life is beautiful, life is sweet...we're cool, we're the offbeats! damn i miss that nick show. good times watching kablam and all that shit back in the day. anyway, time to go make fun of my freshman slaves =P ...life is a party, isn't it. lets all be invited ^^

wow... i really need to get back to posting more often o.o
what a nice new interface blogger has! so easy to use and everything ^^. ashi likes very much. everything has happened sooooooooo fast this month. one thing after another and just...woah. hard to handle ^_^; it's been fun tho. whats on the horizion for ashi you may ask? one acts, finals, and then...*drumroll* FANIME! w00t! i'm *outta* here after finals =D ...i get to go chill out in cali working reg..lol...good times =) very excited to go and hang out.
you know, the song "my band" by...um...D12? reminds me *sooo* much of the music video for no doubt's "don't speak" ...with the band feeling unimportant next to the lead singer since they get all the fame and the band gets nothing.
sorry ^_^;; random thought. so happy school is over soon tho ^^ can't wait for summer...gonna be very busy, but hopefully having fun. i'll get more time to blog too then, ne? ...maybe one day we'll all blog lots again...i'd like that, more than i can say.

don't you just love attempting to post like...5 times in a month but always having something interrupt you or you don't have anything to blog about or something of the sort? =/ never a fun thing. but, i return, as usual, for my (about) monthy post of....summarizing ashi's life because you care *so* much...lol =P you know i <3 you guys...my blogging crew ^_^. things have been going pretty good...4th quarter is pretty...well, it's not as intense as 3rd....well, no, that's not even close to being true. so far, let's see...prom, dance showcase for two weekends, the infamous mayday, honors banquet, and tomorrow...my very first AP test! omg..sooooo scared. going to bed after this post tho...need plenty of rest before the test ^_^
so since you guys have already heard *plenty* of stories about prom, we move onto the next item on our list: the dance show! another wonderful program this year...we (level c) did our afro piece again and vanessa's flaminco piece...ballet 1 + 2 did a cute ragtime piece together..soooo adorable ^_^ ....and then we did jenta's moulin rouge student work the second weekend ^^ i'm sooooo happy it went over as well as it did...even with the slight technical errors =P see mr. v?! see what happens when you have me leave my booth in other hands? ...lol....you know i'm just kidding....sorta *evil grin*
honors banquet was more of the same as 7th 8th and 9th.....no big surprises....er, wait. the freezer broke that day so all the mud pie melted! =( i felt really bad for gus and the kitchen helpers since they work sooooo hard to make all the mud pies and stuff and then all of their work went to waste =/ but then we all clapped lots when they came out to thank them for all of their hard work ^^ (they cook sooooo good ^^ heee...is it dorky that i miss them in the summer? it makes it so much easier for me to choose what i want and everything) ...so the night was pretty good overall, ne? ....ne...
mayday was last friday....surprisingly, us sophs didn't ruin it for once =P ....i'd definetly have to say that the royal court "won" mayday, followed closely by the 8th grade with the molokai slide...both of their performances were...wow. almost worse than us in 6th/9th grade (because we definetly ruined may day those years =P ) ....and not many people can be that bad....besides us of course! lol...i'm glad it's over.
and so my friends, we reach the ending once again. and to each and every one of you...thanks for still sticking around. it's been a wild ride...stupid things happen, i happen, good things happen, life happens. but let's all try to stay friends, right? too many wonderful things happen in our lives, and i want to be able to share them with you guys as long as possible.
...i have no idea where that came from.
